What is the difference between Individual Psychotherapy and Life Coaching?
To make care accessible to all, Curated Change operates with a dual therapy-coaching model. Incia is licensed to practice Psychotherapy in Illinois and Michigan, but for out-of-state clients, she can offer support via Coaching. Due to the nature of telehealth, Incia cannot work with clients in crisis, or on concerns related to severe mental illness, ongoing trauma, or recurring suicidal ideation.
-
Do you accept my insurance?
Incia can only accept insurance from Illinois and Michigan residents who have Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Blue Choice PPO, and Blue Care Network. To ensure that she is in-network with your insurance, please call the number on the back of your insurance card prior to your first session. If your insurance does not cover the cost of your sessions, you will be responsible for the full charge. Psychotherapy clients with other insurance plans are welcome to submit a super-bill, which Incia can provide upon request, to their insurance companies to seek out-of -network coverage.
-
How much would a session cost?
Therapy and coaching sessions range from $175-$250, depending on availability. If using insurance, expect a session to cost what your typical co-pay amount is through your insurance plan. If you are unsure of what your co-pay amount is, Incia recommends contacting your insurance carrier to clarify. In addition to this, Incia also has a limited number of sliding-scale appointments, which allows her to ensure care can be accessible to all.
-
Can I seek services from any location?
Absolutely! Due to the flexibility of the dual therapy-coaching model, Incia can provide services all over the world. This is especially helpful for folks who live in states or countries with limited mental health care. All services are remote, and would only require you to have a private room and a Wi-Fi connection in order to meet for session.

What is included in sex therapy work? How do I know if it is right for me?
Sex therapy is a therapeutic practice mainly focused on intimacy, identity, and a client’s relationship to sex and their body. Incia is a queer-affirming, sex-positive clinician, who aims to normalize and educate on a variety of sexual health concerns. You do not need to be in a relationship, or even sexually active, to seek sex therapy.
-
How can I tell if working with Incia is a good fit for me?
